Idaho Falls A Cappella Chorus has been entertaining audiences since it's charter in 1967. Members reside in Idaho Falls and the surrounding area. Our "director extroaordinaire" is C.J. Jenkins. We are members of the Idaho Falls Arts Council. In 2011, we took third place in the Division A Small Bhorus category. We took first place at regional competition in 2008 and 2009 for small chorus; our score in 2008 placed us in the top five small choruses internationally, and qualified us to compete internationally in Nashville in the fall of 2009. As a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, we teach our members to sing four-part harmony, barbershop style, and we're always looking for new talent! In 2009 we competed in Harmony Classic Division A International Competition, taking second place. That placed us as second in the world, out of over 400 small choruses. We have won several other awards in the past including the 2009 Region 24 First Place Small Chorus and Third Place Chorus overall awards. Our chorus is currently preparing for our next Regional Competition scheduled for March 2012 in Spokane, WA. Our goal for 2012 is to grow as a chorus and recruit new members. Please come join us, we would love to have you sing with us. It's a fabulous time for all of us that love a cappella harmony to get together, sing, perform for each other and strut our stuff. The chorus is active in regional and international events and seminars. We constantly strive to become better singers and performers.
